This course provides a practical introduction to substrate treatment before waterproofing application, mainly focused on concrete substrates, covering weather impacts, primer application, penetration point detailing, junction treatments, and joint treatments for expansion, construction, movement, and cold joints.
This course is specifically designed for main contractors, builders, and their teams involved in managing, coordinating, and supervising substrate preparation—particularly concrete—prior to the application of waterproofing membranes.
We recommend completing the ‘Introduction to Waterproofing Systems’ course before beginning this module.
