What is AS 3600 Design Principles:

Post Tensioned slabs is the most commonly used solution for slabs all around Australia, especially for big developments, it is considered as the first option since it offers many benefits from bigger spans to less concrete and faster construction speed. It involves placing empty ducts and pushing strands inside these ducts which will be later stressed once the concrete has reached enough strength.

Good Initiative!

This course is presented in a very clear and easy to digest format. The educator explains quite complex concepts in plain English and with excellent examples. Overall, the course was refreshing, interactive and interesting, a good mixture of practical and theory with enough time to discuss issues.

Great Learning Tool

The course is presented in a very simple and informative manner and was a very good refresher course for me in terms of PT design. It would be good to get Aaron's responses to the challenge questions put forward throughout the course just to be able to know how our answers compares with his as he has got good experience in this field.

Course content was explained very well. Gives great insight into Reo, PT Cables and associated construction components/materials used in the Australian construction industry and provides a solid overview of their respective applications regarding PT concrete amd large scale concrete pours.

Very Informative
