RAM Concept software is the most commonly used finite element program for Reinforced and Post Tensioned slab design throughout Australia. RAM Concept is a very powerful tool with a lot of analysis and design capabilities, giving user the full control to evaluate and comprehend the model. It can be overwhelming when you start using RAM, and if you don’t model it right, don’t expect to get right results. It is critical you understand what are you doing, as the program will give you output based on your input.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn the analysis and design process in RAM Concept by going through the steps for an actual project

Great introduction to PT Design

I thought the course was quite relatable. A lot of the discussion did cover not only use of the software but how to engineer using the software.
